As part of their efforts to push the boundaries of cinematic storytelling, I developed a suite of DMX tools in Unreal Engine specifically designed to enhance lighting VFX for their productions.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; These tools were built to streamline the integration of DMX protocols, enabling precise control over lighting equipment directly from Unreal Engine. Whether it&rsquo;s synchronizing real-world lighting with virtual environments or crafting intricate lighting effects for a specific scene, the tools offer a flexible and intuitive workflow tailored to Scissor Films&rsquo; creative vision.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Virtual production is transforming the way stories are told, blending physical and digital worlds seamlessly. Working with Scissor Films, I was inspired by their dedication to innovation and artistry. These DMX tools are a step towards bridging the gap between traditional lighting setups and the real-time capabilities of Unreal Engine, making it easier to achieve immersive, dynamic visuals.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; It&rsquo;s been an incredible experience collaborating with a team so committed to pushing the envelope. I must make rapid iteration to solve any problems quick to always hit my deadlines. There nearly inst any project that i haven't been involved in at the studio since i started.<br /><br /><span style="color:rgb(42, 42, 42)">I now live in North Hollywood happy with my wife, my new dog and 2 cats</span></div>  <div><div style="height: 20px; overflow: hidden; width: 100%;"></div> <hr class="styled-hr" style="width:100%;"></hr> <div style="height: 20px; overflow: hidden; width: 100%;"></div></div>  <h2 class="wsite-content-title">What Projects have I done&nbsp;</h2>  <div class="paragraph">I have worked on <em><strong>many </strong></em>several VR projects, however I am not at liberty to mention them, since Game Mechanic Studios doesn't own the rights to these projects.<br /><br />Here is &nbsp;a <em>vague</em> description on what they were<br /><br /><strong>Winter 2015</strong>, I began to porting over Game Mechanics own High Flyer Death Defyr game from IOS to &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Google Play TV and Amazon TV. &nbsp;<br /><br /><strong>Spring 2015, </strong>I started on on a VR game based on a scary movie.&nbsp;<br /><br /><strong>October 2015, </strong>I was Lead Gameplay programmer on a scary VR experience that launched a Demo Booth <span style="color:rgb(42, 42, 42)">In many Movie Theaters Nationwide&nbsp;</span>along side the Move Debut.<br /><br /><strong>March 2016, &nbsp;</strong>I altered an Alpha version of the game to make a Demo for GDC2016. That being said, I still believe that the U4 is still a great engine and I plan on learning the U4 using personal time.<br /><br />&nbsp; &nbsp; I am now using the <a href="http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net/" target="_blank" title="">IRRLICHT</a> engine. Its a very light and Optimized C++ engine. Its an open source low level engine that handles scene management by&nbsp;wrapping around a selection of graphics drivers to choose from.
